  • Being Gay

    There are a number of things that are considered taboo by many religions, and they’re things that are argued about quite a bit in the political sphere of the world. Abortion, homosexuality, stem cell research, etc.

    I’m going to address the “issue” of homosexuality here.

    People claim that homosexuality is bad, that it’s wrong.

    Looking at it from an evolutionary standpoint, we’re not the only ones. There are countless species on Earth that have homosexuality present in them. We are just one. This is not something unique to humans. It’s far more prevalent than that.

    1.) THE MYTH: We will ignore you for the rest of your life if you say "Bless You" after we sneeze.

    REALITY: The phrase has become such a common phrase of courtesy that I, at least, will not defriend you on Facebook if you say this to me. I mean, I find it nice to know that people care that I have survived a life-threatening sneeze.
